So, SpeakForChanges has been pretty inactive the last few weeks. I haven't been attempting to promote it as much as I should. I don't plan on abandoning my projects. Sometimes, though, I can be very motivated for a while then it evens out when I have to balance other things into life.
There's so much we all have to do in life and we don't realize it until we see what we haven't done!

"Difficult questions to ask when you do what you do.
Why am i doing this really?
If someone in my circumstances came to me, what would i tell them?
In light of my past experiences and my future hopes and dreams, what is the wise thing for me to do?"

I heard these and thought they seemed kind of obvious, so they're easy to ignore. When I really think about it... they are difficult questions. Not difficult to answer, but difficult because the answers can be surprising. Admitting to one's self the reasons for action can be completely selfish or cruel or there could be no real reason other than "because i want to." I wonder if we all feel we need to be politically correct when we do things, so we make up "reasons" instead of admitting the real one?

I got ten guestbook hits on my website today! and over 100 views! Although, I am pretty sure 80% of those are from me...

Tonight was refreshing. Communication is key to dealing with situations and to improving yourself as a person/dealing with your own issues so you can effectively help other around you. Sometimes I feel selfish in thinking that I have to love myself and deal with my issues before I deal with others'. However, I feel like it can be very true. We can't seriously deal with other people when we can't even deal with ourselves. And, we'll never be satisfied with ourselves, I don't think, so we have to know where our stability point is. The point where we have dealt with ourselves and we will be fine, so now we can move on to help others who haven't reached that point just yet.
I need to see that movie Pay It Forward.
Although, I'm not too sure how I feel about Haley Joel Osment anymore...

I don't usually post blogs because
a) I don't think anyone ever reads them
b) I never know what to talk about

Maybe this one will be different....
I've discovered that I care a great deal for people. It tends to backfire on me because I usually expect the feelings to be reciprocated and if they don't I get hung up about it. My other problem, I think, is that I don't think I am particularly good at showing how much I care. I think it comes off as much less and more nonchalant than in actuality.
But anyway!
So, I started a website about a week ago. I'm not sure what I want exactly I want to result from creating this site, but I'm hoping something will come to me along the way. It's a sort of survey-site devoted to the sole question "what do you think should be changed in this world?" I'm hoping that enough people will answer and I (and anyone else if they want) will be able to conjure ways to bring about these changes for a better world. I really like TIG because everyone here seems to, in some way, care about our world and other people. I like the community here, but I'm hoping to someday venture off the computer and get involved. It's just hard knowing where to begin...especially when teenage emotional/situational factors divert my focus everyday.
